Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: Free tools have no charges. For paid services — all purchases are generally non-refundable once credits are consumed or a service has commenced. Unused credits may be eligible for a refund within 7 days. GST registration fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.

1. Free Services

GSTIN verification, GST Calculator, HSN/SAC Finder, Invoice Generator, and basic reverse search are completely free. There are no charges and therefore no refund process applicable to these services.

2. Bulk Lookup Credits

Bulk lookup credits are purchased in packs (1, 5, 10, or 25 calls). Each credit allows one batch verification of up to 500 GSTINs.

  • Unused credits (within 7 days): If you have not used any credits from a pack within 7 days of purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting us.
  • Partially used packs: No refund is available for partially consumed credit packs.
  • Credits expire: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account is active.

3. Developer API Credits

API credits are recharged in amounts of ₹100, ₹450, or ₹1,600. Each GSTIN lookup costs 10 paise; cache hits are free.

  • Unused credits (within 7 days): A full refund may be requested if zero API calls have been made since the recharge.
  • Partial usage: If any API calls have been made, the recharge is non-refundable.
  • API key compromise: If your API key is compromised and results in unauthorised usage, contact us immediately. We will investigate and may issue credits at our discretion.

4. GST Registration Assistance (₹500)

The GST registration fee covers expert assistance in preparing and filing your GST registration application with the GST portal.

  • Before processing begins: If you have paid but our team has not yet commenced work on your application (typically within 24 hours of payment), a full refund may be requested.
  • After processing begins: Once our team has started working on your application — including document verification or portal submission — the fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application.
  • GSTN rejection: We are not responsible for GST registration applications rejected by the GSTN due to incorrect information provided by the applicant, or due to regulatory decisions. In such cases, the fee is non-refundable.
  • Duplicate applications: If you have accidentally submitted multiple applications, contact us within 2 hours of the duplicate payment for a refund.

5. Payment Failures

If your payment was debited but credits were not added to your account, please contact us with your payment ID (from Razorpay). We will investigate and credit your account or issue a full refund within 3 business days.

6. Refund Process

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your registered email address
  • Razorpay Payment ID or Order ID
  • Reason for the refund request

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method via Razorpay.

7. Cancellation

GSTVerify does not offer subscription plans — all purchases are one-time. There is no recurring charge to cancel. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; unused credits will be forfeited unless a refund is separately requested and approved under the terms above.
